Established in 1994 by proprietor Dennis Young, Pentimento builds on the flavors and textures of the season to create menus that will tempt and pique your curiosity.
Like all true Italian fare, the soul of each dish is derived from a specific region in Italy embodied by the finest imported and local, natural and organic ingredients then composed with passion in the hands which prepare them.
CHEF & PROPRIETOR
Chef Dennis Young studied at the Culinary Institute of America and honed his craft in NYC’s I Tre Merli. He has been guiding patrons of Pentimento in their discovery of true regional Italian cuisine as well as his own unique fare for over 23 years.
Conceived by proprietor Dennis Young and Chef Chelsea Taylor, Pentimento creates menus inspired by the spirit of mother nature highlighting each season.
As one of the pioneers in the farm-to-table movement on Long Island,
